Online Giving provides a convenient, secure method for our members to financially support the ministries of First Baptist Church of Gaithersburg (FBCG) using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or credit/debit cards.

What is Online Giving?
A free service that allows you to make one-time, weekly, or monthly contributions without writing checks.
What are the advantages to Online Giving?
Convenience, simplicity, and consistency. Once you have set up your Online Giving profile, you don't have to worry about forgetting your checkbook or missing a contribution while you are on vacation. The church benefits from greater consistency in giving.
How does Online Giving work?
Once you have set up your Online Giving profile you will have the option of giving a one-time gift or scheduling weekly or monthly gifts. Your gift(s) will then be electronically transferred from your account directly to FBCG's.
When will my gift be deducted from my account?
On the date(s) you specify.
Are my gifts still tax deductible?
Yes. Your bank statement gives you an itemized list of electronic transfers, and the church will also record your gift and send you an official record of your contributions at year-end.
Is Online Giving safe?
Online Giving is actually less risky than handwritten checks. Your online gifts cannot be lost, stolen or destroyed in the mail. Your gifts will also be recorded with greater accuracy, helping you to maximaze the tax benefits of your gifts. It is also easier and less costly for the church accounting office to process.
What if I change bank accounts?
You can update your information at any time by logging on to Online Giving.
How much does Online Giving cost?
Online giving is free and saves valuable time. The nominal fee to the church is more than made up by increased regularity of recurring gifts and decreased administrative costs.
Will my information be kept confidential?
Neither FBCG or our Online Giving partner, Vanco Services, will share your information with anyone for any reason. You can read their complete privacy statement here.
What if I try Online Giving and don't like it?
You can cancel Online Giving at any time and for for any reason.
